Colonel A. S. Sundaram (Retd.)

Colonel A. S. Sundaram has spent a lifetime in service of the nation. Commissioned into the Indian Army, he served with distinction through two wars and survived a bomb explosion while on active duty — an ordeal that tested, and proved, the courage and composure that define his leadership.

He went on to serve as Joint Director, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, carrying the discipline of a soldier into the quiet, demanding work of national security. His dedication earned recognition from the Government of India, including two commendations for excellence in service and a Commendation Certificate from the Intelligence Bureau.

An engineer by training, he is a corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) and a Chartered Engineer, and has served as General Secretary of the Indian Society for Atomic Biological Chemical Cyber Security Education (ABCCS), New Delhi.
